Background: Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) 's new guidelines for statistical quality control (SQC; C24-ED4) (CLSI C24-ED4, 2016; Parvin CA, 2017) recommended the implementation of a risk-based SQC strategy. Important changes from the previous edition include the alignment of the principles and concepts of the model of the patient’s risk common in CLSI EP23A (CLSI EP23A, 2011), and recommendations for optimizing the frequency of the SQC (number of patients included in the running, or the size of the run) on the basis of the amount expected from the results of the final patient is not reliable. This guideline outlines the strategic planning process and explain risk-based SQC 2 application for the examination procedure that provides 9-σ and quality 4-σ. Serious limitation is that there is no practical tools to help verify the laboratory results from samples or conduct their own applications.

Hydraulic fracturing laboratory scale datasets for benchmarking of enhanced geothermal systems simulation tool
successful design enhanced geothermal systems (STN) requires accurate numerical simulation of hydraulic stimulation process under the surface. To ensure a correct prediction, the assumptions underlying the model and simulator constitutive relations need to be verified against the experimental dataset. With the aim of producing a benchmark dataset laboratory scale testing facility state-of-the-art developed, allowing for experiments under controlled conditions. Samples of size 30 cm x 30 cm x 45 cm was subjected to confining pressure while high pressure fluid is injected into the sample through the pre-drilled bore hole, where the saw-cut notch used to start a penny-shaped fracture.
